Lada Vesta

Compared to the prototype of the Lada Vesta seen at the WTCC, the body styling has become more sober but even with the final modifications it remained pretty similar to it. At the moment the only available body style is a four door sedan, but in the future an estate and a cross country 4x4 version will be available also.

Engine choices:
-1.6 L 4 cylinder petrol engine with 2 or 4 valves per cylinder; the 8v is producing 89 HP and the 16v 109 HP (both developed by Lada)
-1.6 L 4 cylinder petrol engine with 4 valves per cylinder producing 115 HP (EU version; developed by Nissan-Renault)
-1.5 dCi 4 cylinder diesel engine with 4 valves per cylinder producing ? HP (EU version: developed by Nissan-Renault; power output wasn't mentioned by the manufacturer)

Gearbox:
-5 speed manual in the 1.6 L 8v & 16v (Lada)
-? speed manual or CVT in the 1.6 L 16v (EU version; Nissan-Renault) (more about CVT: http://allaboutdieselz.blogspot.ro/2015/07/cvt-transmission.html)
-? speed manual or Robotised Gearbox in the 1.5 dCi (EU version; Nissan-Renault)

I didn't found any specific information referring to the number of gears found in the manual transmission models... The 1.5 dCi will probably arrive with a 5 or 6 speed manual gearbox, depending on the power output of the diesel (in the "1.5 dCi" article you can find out that this engine is available from 65 to 110 HP: http://allaboutdieselz.blogspot.ro/2015/07/15-dci.html). In case of the 115 HP 1.6 L 16v petrol engine it can be a 5 or 6 speed manual... it isn't clear because in the Nissan and Renault models (from where this engine was borrowed), a 5 and a 6 speed manual version is existing with this particular engine,

Sales are starting this year in Russia and by next year it will be available in many EU countries, benchmarking in price the Dacia.

Simple materials are being used because Lada wants to become  a cheaper brand than Dacia, which is also a subsidiary company of Renault
Cross Country Concept
