"Corona Virus Update in ASEAN: Singapore's Highest Case, Malaysia's Most Cured",

Efforts to handle corona virus infection in various countries in the world are still being carried out. Launch data from the Worldometers page, until Sunday (05/03/2020) evening, total Covid-19 cases in the world were confirmed as many as 3,478,152 cases. 

Based on the observation of the website, there are five countries with a high enough number of cases for the Southeast Asian region. Singapore became the country with the most cases, followed by Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand, respectively. The five countries recorded a total of 47,887 cases of infection and 1,628 people died, while 11,589 patients recovered. Singapore The Merlion State recorded 18,205 cases of corona virus infection in the country. A total of 17 people were declared dead while 1,347 patients had recovered. Meanwhile, reported Kompas.com (05/02/2020) Singapore announced it would loosen its partial lockdown or circuit breaker policy starting next week. Easing was done after the decline in cases of communal infection Covid-19 in the past week. 

These cases of communal infection are only counted from cases in Singaporean society, without including cases in foreign workers' dormitories. Recent data shows that the average case of corona virus infection fell by half, from an average of 25 cases to 12 cases per week. Singapore is showing progress, but the number of communal infections has not dropped to one digit level. "The government has decided to adopt concessions, but not all restrictions can be lifted at the same time," said the Minister of National Development and Chairman of the Covid-19 Task Force, Lawrence Wong, Saturday afternoon (05/02/2020).
